Craig Richardt

Craig Richardt, 61, Spokane Valley, WA died Sept. 28, 2024 as a result of an automobile accident near Spokane Valley.

His funeral was Oct. 26, 10:30 a.m. at Fiksdal Funeral Service, Webster. Pastor Janet Miller officiated. Burial with military honors was at Ortley Cemetery.

Craig Ervin Richardt was born March 2, 1963 to Maurice and Norma (Leimkuhl) Richardt at Webster. They lived at Waubay. He was baptized shortly after birth at the Peabody Hospital, Webster and confirmed at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waubay. He attended school and graduated from Waubay High School in 1981. He entered the U. S. Armed Forces in August 1983 and served in the Air Force. He received numerous decorations and citations such as the Meritorious Service, Air Force Commendation, Air Force Achievement and National Defense Service medals, Outstanding Unit Award, plus many others. He retired from the service at Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington in September 2009 at the rank of Master Sergeant. After retirement he made his home in Spokane Valley. In 2010 he began working for Access where he delivered medical records. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding his motorcycle. He was a fan of Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Vikings.

Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Kendall, one son, Nathan Kendall, Spokane Valley; two sisters, Dawn Richardt, Aberdeen; Kim Richardt, Sioux Falls; four grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
