According to a press release by South Dakota Department of Corrections, state prison offender Michael Kaiser has been reported dead. The press release states Kaiser, 64, died at a hospital Sept. 8 following a brief medical issue. It added, Kaiser was assigned to the South Dakota State Penitentiary at the time of his death.
