Webster Area track and field attended the state meet May 28-30 in Sioux Falls at Howard Wood Field. Matthew Mount takes his second attempt during the javelin throw. Mount got 168’ 4” on his first attempt, which was good enough to place first. On his second attempt he threw 176’ 9” which not only solidifed his first place, but was also a new state meet record.
