Esther Vanderloo, 92, died April 2, 2026 at Avera Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Funeral service was at Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home, Sioux Falls April 24. Inurnment will be at SD Veterans Cemetery.
Esther K. Zakrzewski was born to John and Anna (Rumpza) Zakrzewski in Waubay Jan. 17, 1934. As a young adult she moved to Sioux Falls and worked for Manchester Baking Company for several years.
She married George Vanderloo July 9, 1959. She was later employed by Western Printing and Sanford Hospital until she retired at age 84.
She is survived by her four children, Terri, Michael and Kyle Vanderloo, Sioux Falls and Annamarie Vanderloo, Ft. Myers, FL; two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; brothers, Arnold and Judy Zakrzewski, Harrisburg; Ronald and Marg Zakrzewski, Mesa, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Marie Christianson, Evelyn Stacy, Clara Anderson; brothers: Raymond, Henry, Arthur, John, Leonard, David, Donald, Richard and Roger.
