Rita Hamman, 81, Webster, died April 18, 2026 at Sanford Hospital, Webster.
Mass of Christian Burial was April 25, 10:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, Webster. Interment was at St. Otto’s Catholic Cemetery near Webster. Visitation was April 24, 5-7 p.m. with Rosary at 7 at Fiksdal Funeral Service, Webster.
Rita Susan Marie Czmowski was born May 30, 1944 to Nick and Ida (Gebur) Czmowski in Webster. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Otto’s Catholic Church, Webster. She attended country school and St. Otto’s parochial school, graduating from Webster High School in 1962. She earned cosmetology certification through an apprenticeship. She owned and operated two beauty salons in Webster. She later became a certified nursing assistant. She provided home healthcare in the area and later worked at Bethesda Home, Webster. She retired in 2012 and moved to Foreman, ND. In August 2025, she returned to Webster.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing cards, baking, game shows, trips to the casino and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Robert Hamman, Webster; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters, Amanda, Beatrice, Jenny, Leona, Sally; two brothers, Albert and Sylvester.
