90-year-old Sonny Larson is a Day County resident currently living at Strand-Kjorsvig Living Center. Larson has a wall full of his arts and crafts and pictures of his family. Alvin Larson was born in 1935 and will be turning 91 in March. Although being named Alvin, he actually prefers his nickname, Sonny. Larson was given his nickname by his mother at a young age and he said he doesn’t exactly remember why she gave him it, but it’s stuck around his entire life.
