In 2009 Bruce and Annie Knowlan purchased their home a few miles outside of Webster and with some help restored a historic but dilapidated 1951 gothic arch barn on the property to better than new.He said he visited the Day County area for the first time in the 1970s to hunt pheasants and ducks.
