High wind washes debris onto roadway

  • Debris from Blue Dog Lake blew onto 446A Ave. during the afternoon of Sept. 4 east of Waubay with high winds. Day County Highway Superintendent Ben Braaten said the road, pictured here Sept. 5, was cleaned of tree branches and other hazards the evening of Sept. 4 and there are currently no safety concerns on the road.
