Freedom Worship becomes sovereign from parent church

  • Freedom Church, Webster has become sovereign from their parent church Freedom Worship Center, Aberdeen with the resigning of Lead Pastor Drew Becker who was named Superintendent Pastor for the South Dakota Assemblies of God in May.     Freedom Church in Webster has become independent from the Freedom Worship Center in Aberdeen which originally planted them in Webster in September 2012.

    In May of this year the Assemblies of God denomination held their district council for churches in South Dakota and with the retiring of Superintendent Pastor Stephen Schaible elected Freedom Worship Center’s Lead Pastor Drew Becker as new superint…
