Donald Anderson, 72, Waubay, died March 25, 2025 at Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls.
Funeral services were March 29, 10:30 a.m. at Fiksdal Funeral Service, Webster. Burial was at Lakewood Cemetery, Waubay.
Donald Gene Anderson was born Oct. 16, 1952, to Lyle and Dorothy (Richardt) Anderson in Webster. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Waubay. He attended Sisseton School and graduated from Waubay High School in 1974. He worked on the farm he grew up on.
He was an outdoor person and enjoyed riding the four-wheeler to check cattle and fix fences, working on the farm, going to lunch with family or friends.
Survivors include two brothers, Neil and Deb Anderson, John and Linda Anderson, Waubay; five nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Barbara; many aunts and uncles.
