Groton Area Tigers girls basketball hosted the Redfield Pheasants in the first round matchup of the Class A Regions bracket which resulted in a 44-9 Groton Area win.
Tigers were able to enter halftime with a commanding 31-4 lead and Groton Area was able to continue their dominance in the second half which resulted in their lead growing to the final score of 44-9.
