Kurkowski, Jorgenson and Baumgarn earn state bid as Bearcat wrestlers compete in Region 1B Tournament

Webster Area boys wrestlers participated in the SDHSAA Region 1B Tournament at Hamlin High School in Hayti Feb. 22. As the tournament finished, the Bearcat wrestlers who earned a bid to state were Haeden Jorgenson, Tayten Kurkowski and Gage Baumgarn.
In the tournament 16 different teams competed and Webster Area placed eighth overall with 83.5 team points.
