Michael Schuster, 62, died Feb. 3, 2025.
Memorial service was Feb. 8 at 238 Yellowpine Rd, Ruidoso, NM.
Michael Patrick Schuster was born March 17, 1962 in Sisseton. He graduated from Roslyn High School and obtained a bachelors in economics and an associates of nursing degree. As a registered nurse, he worked at the hospital in Ruidoso. In his 33 year career, he worked in every department at the hospital, but especially the perioperative department. In 2022, he received the nursing excellence award in perioperative nursing for New Mexico.
He enjoyed the outdoors, skiing, snowboarding, hiking and walking.
Survivors include Minnie Singleton; Jordan and Ryan Perry, Derek and Chanley Perry; brothers, Jeff and Bridgett Schuster, Rick and Terri Schuster, Randy Schuster and Ken Schuster; sisters, Linda Karst, Carol Von Schenk, Janet and Dwight Miller, Elaine and Terry Ingalls, Alice and Mike Schmitz; two grandchildren; 15 nieces and nephews; nine great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Schuster and mother, Frances Snaza.
