Christopher Lee Hinkelman, 48, died Oct. 15,
2024.
Christopher Lee Hinkelman was born June 16, 1976, to Alfred and Carol (Klein) Hinkelman in Watertown. He was baptized and confirmed at Immaculate Conception Church, Waubay. He attended Waubay Elementary School and graduated from Waubay High School in 1994. He graduated from auctioneer school in 2005.
He married Rebecca Pies in September, 2007. He had various jobs throughout his life, but especially enjoyed agriculture.
He enjoyed visiting sale barns, attending auctions and cooking. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, attending family gatherings or learning more about family history. He enjoyed attending his children’s activities.
Survivors include his sons, Kyle and Kaitlin Kleinschmit, Brett Hinkelman; daughter, Madelyn Hinkelman; former spouse; sister, Kristi and Mike Jordan; brother, Cody and Dani Hinkelman; several nieces and nephews; four great-nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Martin and Louise Hinkelman, Marcella and Frank Klein; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Fiksdal Funeral Service, Webster was in charge of arrangements.
