Susan Kelly Haase, 78, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on Aug. 26, 2024 in Ormond Beach, FL.
Born to Frederick and Sarah Mullen in Natick, MA, on April 19, 1946, Susan attended Mount St. Mary College before becoming a flight attendant at Eastern Airlines. She married Bruce Kelly and they raised two children. After Eastern’s closure, she went on to work at American Airlines, where she met her current husband, Neil Haase. The couple later retired to Webster and built a fulfilling life and many strong friendships.
Susan enjoyed cooking, entertaining, gardening and decorating. She made many trips to central Florida to spend time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Carol Mullen Graham.
She is survived by her husband Neil Haase, Webster; children Kathy Kelly Yunick (Steve), and Kevin Kelly (Marlena), Daytona Beach, FL; grandchildren Kaylin Yunick, Erin Yunick, Grace Kelly, and Conner Kelly; brother John Mullen, New Mexico; step-daughter Gretchen Haase (Jeff), Nevada; step-son Hans Haase (Alba), South Dakota and step-grandchildren Declan Musheno and Emma Haase.
To honor Susan, a celebration of life will occur at the Izaak Walton Clubhouse on Saturday Oct. 5 from 12-3 p.m., and a memorial service will be at 1 p.m. A light lunch will be served.
