Webster Area hosts first cross country meet of season

Webster Area Bearcats hosted their first home cross country invite Sept. 16 at the Webster Golf Course. The Bearcats finished in second place out of six teams, according to coach Cheryl McCreary.
The Bearcats had three girl varsity runners at their home opener. Hannah Sonstebo finished with the best placing for the Bearcats as she came in 24th with a time of 24:04.63.
