Bearcats offense stifled by Tigers in homecoming football game

Webster Area Bearcats finished homecoming week as they faced off against the Groton Area Tigers Sept. 6. The game was a low-scoring affair with the Bearcats losing 7-14. Coach Tyler Wagner said the team is trending in the right direction, but ultimately the lack of execution is resulting in losses.
Throughout the game defense was a big trend with the first quarter ending in a score of 0-0.
