Paul Wilcox Soule

Paul Wilcox Soule, born in Milbank in 1938, died unexpectedly on Aug. 16, 2024. His first occupation was a paperboy in Webster which carried over into his lifelong work as a printer for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love and faith. A man of unmatched kindness, Paul never met a stranger. Always looking to share a story, play a game of cards or hang out at his cabin of 35 years in Brainerd. He and his devoted wife Rozella (Jacobson) shared 66 years of marriage, residents of Brooklyn Center and attendees of Prince of Peace Lutheran church for

over 55 years.

As a loving father, adoring grandfather and great-grandfather, Paul made family his priority. Paul’s faith assures us that he is now in fellowship with the Lord. Paul is survived by his wife Rozella, sons Rick (Judy), Jay (Carla), Michael (Alice) and daughter Susan (Sabinus) Ihejirika. Sister Mary Miller and sister-in-law Beverly Soule and grandchildren; Bill (Amanda) Walker, Tyler (Veronica), Matthew (Melissa), Nathan (Madison) Soule Pierce, Courtney, Gabriell Soule, Spencer and Skyler Ihejirika. Great-grandchildren; Katelyn, Trenton, and Evan Walker, Ryker, Leon, Jacob and Everly Soule. As well as other “adopted” neighborhood children and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents Robert and Ruby Soule, brother Wayne, nephew David and niece Donna. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Brooklyn Park, MN. Livestream will be available online at princeof peacechurch.org.
