Tabor Lutheran Church celebrates mortgage burning ceremony
Reverend Dr. Jason Holt, a Presidential Ministry Associate with American Free Lutheran Church Congregations, places the paid off mortgage paperwork for Tabor Lutheran Church in Webster in a fire pit during a mortgage burning ceremony July 14. The church purchased what was formerly Shopko along U.S. Hwy. 12 in Webster and converted it to their worship center, paying down the 20-year loan in four and a half years, to the day.
