Representatives of two separate companies for multiple proposed wind tower projects in Day County attended the most recent Day County Commissioner meeting July 16 and answered questions from both elected officials and members of the public alike.
Reverend Dr. Jason Holt, a Presidential Ministry Associate with American Free Lutheran Church Congregations, places the paid off mortgage paperwork for Tabor Lutheran Church in Webster in a fire pit during a mortgage burning ceremony July 14. The church purchased what was formerly Shopko along U.S. Hwy. 12 in Webster and converted it to their worship center, paying down the 20-year loan in four and a half years, to the day.
