Webster school board meets briefly, submits votes for SDHSAA ballots

It took three minutes to conduct the business at a special board meeting of the Webster Area School Board May 23. Members of that board met in a mixture of in-person and via phone conference to submit the school’s vote for the South Dakota High School Athletic Association ballots.

AG announces 13 tribal officers participate in law enforcement training

PIERRE – South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley has announced 13 tribal law enforcement officers, along with another 11 local and state officers, are scheduled to participate in the state’s first-ever tribal law enforcement specific training session starting June 3 in Pierre.

Farmers were able to get into the field more than five days last week in the region. That number comes from the National Agricultural Statistics Service of the United States Department of Agriculture, Northern Plains Region. The report was for the week ending May 19 which showed there were 5.
