Local group makes waves with water safety event

Thrivent Financial of Webster and local Game, Fish & Parks partnered together for a special event at Webster Aquatic Center June 13.“Making Waves – Dive into Safety” was the event name and was sponsored by Thrivent Financial. The event was free of charge to all in attendance.

Training will be held for Day County Ambulance Service staff regarding properly unloading a patient from an ambulance at the Day County Commissioner’s meeting June 18. The training is in response to the handling to the handling of the situation when the ambulance which caught fire June 8.

Events take shape for Webster alumni weekend

Webster alumni weekend is coming sooner than later. This year it will take place June 2829.Kicking off the weekend Webster Area Chamber will host their second annual golf tournament at the Webster Golf Course June 28.That evening the Alumni Association will put on their banquet.
