Vogl to serve on Webster City Council

There’s a new face serving on the Webster City Council as of their Nov. 4 regular monthly meeting. Brian Vogl was appointed to serve in the Ward III councilman seat which has been vacant since January when Josh Bartos resigned.

Day County recycling program opens up vote for potential recycling location change

The Day County recycling program held a meeting Oct. 29 where important topics of recycling were discussed. According to Jen Moos, topics of discussion included what type of items can be properly recycled and a vote to change the recycling location.

The polls have closed and the unofficial results of Election Day 2024 are in. With a 75.82 percent voter turnout in Day County, members of the electorate have made their voices heard.In Day County, 2,989 of the 3,942 registered voters turned out to the polls Nov. 5. Meanwhile, the state saw a 64.
