With the tune of “Pomp and Circumstance” filling the air, area schools are set to hold commencement exercises for the graduating class of 2025.Webster Area High School’s graduation ceremony will be held May 18 at 2 p.m. at Webster Armory. Thirty-seven students are set to receive their diplomas then.

Webster Area Soccer kicks off

As spring buds in Day County so does new soccer talent in Webster.Webster Area Soccer is a spring soccer league which kicked off their season May 1. Practice is held twice a week starting in mid-April and the season is done by Memorial Day weekend when baseball and softball season typically start.
