Groton track made the trip to Webster to compete in javelin for the Northeast Conference meet May 15. Though the meet was originally supposed to take place in Redfield, weather caused the cancelation of the meet and only two events were held in Webster.

John Horter has been working on tractors since high school when he began a business out of the shop at his family farm. In 2013, with his wife Jaclyn, he purchased the shop on Main Street in Bristol where Horter’s Farm and Ranch Supply currently resides.

Mercury pollution lands two more South Dakota lakes on fish consumption advisory list

State officials have added two more South Dakota lakes to the fish consumption advisory list after testing found elevated mercury levels in large walleye.The state announced Monday that Dry Lake #1 in Clark County and Lake Henry in Kingsbury County have been added to the list.
