    Editor’s Note: This is the third and final installment in a series about bees in Northeastern South Dakota.

    In 2009 Will Marchuk moved from his home in Zhmerynka, Ukraine to the U.S. after being hired by a beekeeper to help on his farm. Now, 16 years later, he is a commercial beekeeper with over 4,200 hives and several employees of his own.
