House fire under investigation, propane tank fire cause of second incident

  • Webster Fire Department responded to a house fire late Sept. 9 at 1106 Main Street. The fire prompted sections of Main St. to be closed off for the fire trucks and ambulance to provide services. Waubay’s fire department was called in to assist Webster Fire and Rescue in extinguishing the blaze. Assistant Fire Chief Eric Kwasniewski declined for a comment on the situation as of Sept. 10.
