WIth the warm weather Day County is encountering, lakes are starting to warm up and the ice is melting. The community should be aware of the potential danger caused by the melting ice as there had already been incidents of vehicles falling through. Reporter & Farmer | Connor Handrahan
On Feb. 6 and 7 four vehicles fell through Day County lakes due to warm weather melting the lakes. According to Day County Sheriff Jerred Schreur, two incidents occurred in the evening Feb. 6 and two in the morning Feb. 7.
