Fire department responds to number of calls to start new year

Webster Fire Department responded to three calls spanning Jan. 4-6. The calls included a house fire, a potential gas leak and a crash into the cable barrier on south Hwy. 25.
According to assistant fire chief Eric Kwasniewski the fire department responded to a chimney fire call the morning of Jan. 4 near 427th Ave. Kwasniewski said there is not a definite cause for the start of the fire.
