Day County State’s Attorney receives Distinguished Service Award

    South Dakota State’s Attorneys Association honored Day County State’s Attorney John Knight with the 2025 Distinguished Service Award May 12.

    Knight has served Day and Deuel Counties as State’s Attorney for a combined nearly 30 years. Beyond the courthouse, Knight is honored for helping mentor other prosecutors throughout the state.
