Day County Office of Emergency Management (OEM) recieved approval on a $24,636 homeland security grant, OEM Director Bryan Anderson reported at the Day County Commission meeting Sept. 1.
The county plans to purchase several new radios for a fire department and the Day County Ambulance Service, which will be reimbursed by Pierre, Anderson explained.
