Bristol to apply for new bridge design grant

Public safety, feral cat concerns raised

Bristol Town Board approved a resolution to apply for a federal grant funding designs for a new railroad bridge at its July 6 meeting.

If approved, the federal government would provide $1.7 million to cover plans, environmental clearances and designs to replace the aging bridge on S. 3rd St., one of the town’s main vehicular arteries.
