Kjos-Miotke is new president of state funeral directors association, hopes to bring change to the industry

Shauna Kjos-Miotke, owner of Fiksdal Funeral Service, was recently elected as Board President of the South Dakota Funeral Directors Association. Previously she held the title of vice president for the board. Kjos-Miotke was elected May 9 at the association’s 124th state convention, which took place in Sioux Falls. Kjos-Miotke will lead SDFDA until May 2025.
