Spaghetti supper to benefit Lincoln Nimmer and his family is Dec. 9, 5-7 p.m. at American Lutheran Church, Webster.
Spirit of Christmas tree, sponsored by Webster Community Club, Dacotah, CorTrust and Great Western banks, Webster is available for those who wish to spread the Spirit of Christmas to those less fortunate. Tags can be picked up at any of the three banks for a $15 minimum gift. Cash donations are also appreciated. Wrapped gifts with the tag attached are due at the bank they were picked up from by Dec. 17.
Advent Sing at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Webster is Dec. 15, 3 p.m. Voice, chime and bell choirs will perform and refreshments will be served.
Webster holiday drawings for $1,400 in Webster Chamber Bucks begin Dec. 9 with $25 and increase $15 per day. Final drawing is Dec. 20 for $300 in Chamber Bucks. Enter by shopping at participating Webster businesses and getting your card completely stamped ($240 in purchases). Need not be present to win.
Webster American Legion Post 40 members and spouses Christmas dinner is Dec. 12, 6 p.m. RSVP by calling the Legion, 345-3416 by Dec. 10.
Frontier Christmas will be celebrated at Fort Sisseton Dec. 14, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Event includes holiday traditions such as sleigh rides, crafts, caroling, demonstrations, lighting a holiday tree and more.
Webster VFW and VFW Auxiliary will meet Dec. 10, 6:30 p.m. for a potluck meal at the clubroom.
Letters to Santa may be mailed in the special mailbox in front of Dacotah Bank, Webster by Dec. 18 to be delivered to the North Pole. Santa will try to write back by Christmas Eve. No postage is necessary but don’t forget your return address so the mailman can deliver Santa’s letter to you.
Caregivers Support Group meets Dec. 16, 6 p.m. in the Heritage Village dining room, Webster. Topic is Merry and Bright, Our Blessings Are Our Light.
