Roslyn Booster Club appreciation supper and Santa Claus is Dec. 3 at the Roslyn Event Center beginning with inflatables and Santa at 5 p.m. and supper served 5-7 p.m.
Bristol Stop & Shop is Dec. 4, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Bristol School gym. Event includes pictures and treats with Santa, 10 a.m.-noon, many vendors and cash prizes.
Webster Area Robocats public open house is Nov. 28 at the CTE building, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Students will present their notebook, marketing presentation, display and robot demonstrations. Students are headed to the Regional-National BEST Robotics competition in Denver, CO Dec. 11-12.
Pet photo shoot is Dec. 4, 8 a.m.-noon at RDO, Webster. Proceeds support Webster Paws Walk dog park project in Webster.
Webster VFW Post 4690 is selling 400 Cash to Stash tickets. Drawing will be held when all tickets are sold.
Walk through Bethlehem is Dec. 5, noon-4 p.m. at United Methodist Church, Webster.
Waubay Elementary students will present a Christmas concert Dec. 2, 6:30 p.m. in the school gym. The lower grades will present a variety of songs about the Christmas season. The upper elementary grades will present Cold Snap about the various holidays celebrated during the Christmas season. Sixth grade band will also perform.
Spirit of Christmas Tree, sponsored by Webster Community Club, Dacotah Bank, CorTrust Bank and Great Western Bank, Webster will be up Dec. 1. Anyone wishing to spread the Christmas spirit to a child less fortunate may pick up a tag from one of the banks, purchase a gift and return it wrapped with the tag attached, to the bank by Dec. 16.
“Caroling, Caroling” Webster Area Elementary School Christmas concert is Dec. 7, 7 p.m. at Webster Armory. Grades kindergarten through sixth and the sixth grade band will perform. Grades seven through 12 bands and choirs Christmas concert is Dec. 9, 7 p.m. with the middle school vocal and band, high school concert choir and band performing. Patty Baule and Sharon Zettlemoyer are directors.
Fort Sisseton Frontier Christmas is Dec. 11, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Holiday traditions from 1800 are replayed at the authentic 1864 military outpost.
